Almost killed my family member. They sent him to the hospital from neglect. Do NOT send your loved ones here! They couldn’t follow dietary restrictions, safe swallowing restrictions or adequate care. They are severely understaffed and have to hire temporary workers who know NOTHING about the patients. I won’t be surprised if they lose their license when they try and get certified
Facility was very clean and smelled nice. Quiet and very open areas . Halls had wonderful natural light . Rooms we nice. Very modern looking facility.
I have a friend who is currently in the facility. From the moment you walk in and signing in, they are welcoming and helpful. While there she was checked on by staff to see if she needed anything. She likes her therapist who is trying to get her back on her feet! It feels like a place of healing!
My wife’s mother stayed at Pacific Villas Post Acute for approximately two months following a month-long hospitalization, and our family could not be more grateful for the exceptional care she received during her recovery. The level of medical care, physical therapy, and personal attention was outstanding. Dr. Gammada was exceptional, not only in the care provided to her mother, but also in the way he communicated with my wife directly. He consistently provided timely, detailed updates about her condition, treatment, and progress, which gave our family tremendous confidence and peace of mind throughout her stay. Emmy, the head nurse, was also incredible. She was always accessible, responsive, and compassionate, and became a trusted point of contact for our family. Knowing we could always reach her made an enormous difference. What truly stood out about Pacific Villas Post Acute was how personalized and individualized the care felt. Every single person, from the greeter and security staff to the caregivers, nurses, therapists, and medical staff, treated not only my mother-in-law with warmth and respect, but also every member of our family who visited her. And finally, the facility itself is beautiful. It is modern, exceptionally clean, welcoming, and warm … a place that genuinely feels focused on healing and dignity. We are deeply appreciative of everyone at Pacific Villas Post Acute for the care, professionalism, and compassion shown to my wife’s mother and our family.
Very clean and very nice wide room
Clean, professional staff, good care
My dad recovered here for a week and the experience was very nice! Gorgeous new facility and friendly & excellent staff.
My wife came here from an extensive stay at an acute care rehab hospital where there was minimum pt and ot. Pacific Villas is just the opposite. Their pt and ot personal are dedicated to getting her strength and stamina level to the point of returning home. The facility is brand new with all the latest amenities. The staff is excellent and invested in their patients. My wife said it was like coming to a country club. We both highly recommend Pacific Villas.
Very professional and polite.
I would strongly caution families before placing a loved one at Pacific Villas Post Acute. There appears to be a deeply troubling pattern at this facility involving vulnerable Medicare patients who are admitted for short-term rehab, allowed to exhaust their skilled Medicare days, and then, once a patient requires hospitalization or their coverage changes, families are suddenly told the facility “cannot take them back,” “does not accept Medicaid,” or “cannot accommodate long-term care.” This leaves elderly and medically fragile patients stranded in hospitals or scrambling for placement during some of the most stressful moments imaginable. Families should know: • California facilities like this are often required to evaluate readmission rights before simply refusing return. • Medicaid/Medi-Cal eligibility is frequently misrepresented to families who are unfamiliar with the system. • Patients are led to believe they have a stable care plan, only to find out they are being displaced once reimbursement changes. The issue is not one isolated discharge. It is the repeated acceptance of patients under one financial arrangement, followed by resistance once the patient becomes a longer-term responsibility. This kind of practice places profit over patient continuity of care. Please ask detailed questions before admitting your loved one here: * Will they accept Medi-Cal pending? * What is their exact readmission policy after hospitalization? * Are they willing to retain long-term custodial residents? * How many patients have been denied return after hospital transfer? Get every answer in writing. Too many families are finding out the hard way that the promises made at admission do not match the facility’s actions when a patient becomes financially inconvenient.

The front desk team is always kind, helpful and courteous. The rooms are kept clean, tidy and comfortable. EVERYONE from the reception desk, therapists, aides, nurses, doctors is truly about meeting the needs of the seniors, reflecting kindness, gentleness, patience and Spreading love throughout. There is always something fun and social to do should you want to partake. The chef does a great job with nutritional variety throughout the week. A great place for your loved ones.
Food needs improvement
I don’t have a family member there quite yet but the level of compassion with simply talking to the reps on the phone was amazing. I really hope we can get my mom in here
Wonderful skilled nursing facility. I was amazed at how beautiful this place is inside. My 97-year-old mother is recuperating after breaking her tibia with complications. The staff is incredible, all the way from the front desk to the doctors and the physical therapists. Special shout out to Zoey for her encouragement and professionalism, Michelle for her professionalism and incredibly consistent positive attitude, Angel another fantastic nurse and Tyler the director of rehab for being so helpful. Everyone I spoke with knew exactly who my mother was and she’s only been here for 2 days. Beautiful gym and even a salon. The food is actually very good all things considered. I don’t think it gets much better anywhere in the world for a skilled acute care nursing facility, first class facility and staff!

I was there with the singing group. When I walked in, I was greeted and directed where to go. The staff seemed helpful and very professional. I’m a retired, RN and Former LVN instructor. From what I saw, this is the place I would want my students to be working

This is a brand new place. It’s clean, organized and modern. The staff is kind and professional.
Beautiful, modern facility with nice public areas and large well equipped rooms & bathrooms. Staff shortages are prevalent in most areas, although they are actively hiring. This also equals many new people who are unfamiliar with facility policies and how to find things. Huge variances in response time to calls, especially for PRN meds which can exceed an hour. The food is awful even for hospital food, which is a shame since it isn’t up to the standard of the rest of the services offered. Most of the regular staff staff are friendly and helpful and responsive to patient needs & requests. If they resolve the food problems this will be one of the nicest in the area and a popular one for patients who need Rehab.when they leave the hospital .

The Nursing staff is very caring and professional. The Physical Therapist and Ocupational Therapist are patient and knowledgable. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. I found the Doctor and PA to be friendly, patient, informative. As someone that does not eat beef, pork or milk, and prefers more vegetables, there should be more food options available.
